I took ALL of these pictures on the camera's automatic setting except for zooming in or out, then… point and shoot! I want you to see that YOU can take just as amazing pictures when you go on safari with Above and Beyond Africa / YourSafariExpert.com. Our guides have extensive knowledge, and will position the vehicle for the best possible lighting for taking pictures.
I do recommend, however, a camera with at least a 6 – 10x OPTICAL zoom (approx. 200 – 350 mm equivalent), particularly for photographing birds.

In 2007 I purchased an Olympus SP-550UZ (7.1 mp / 18x optical zoom/ 28-504mm equivalent) camera, which I used for my most recent safaris. I will have photos from these trips posted soon.
